The universal pulse / frequency display PReview 5725 is the latest addition to PR electronics’ display family

PReview 5725 solves a wide variety of tasks in f/I conversion, e.g. measurement, readout, surveillance and control of pulse-based process parameters (frequency, flow, rotation, speed, etc.). The display is particularly well suited for applications in e.g. the marine, chemical and cement industries, the energy sector and the machine building industry.

Flexible characteristics

PReview 5725 features a universal pulse input (switch, NAMUR, NPN, PNP, TTL, Tacho and S0, 0…50 kHz) and a universal supply voltage range (21.6…253 VAC, 50…60 Hz or 19.2…300 VDC). The analogue output gives you programmable response time and two potential-free relays with programmable on/off delay.

Easy configuration

Programming of PReview 5725 is easily done using the 3 push-buttons on the display front without the need for a detailed manual. If you get stuck during the configuration, you will be guided by scrolling help text in the display, available in 8 languages. The help text is easy to read on the large, 4-digit, 14-segment LED display which represents all letters of the alphabet correctly, as opposed to a standard 7-segment display. Once configuration is complete, you can protect it against unauthorised changes with a password. PR electronics is also happy to deliver your PReview 5725 pre-configured according to your specifications.

Quick wiring and relay test

You will only need a few seconds to connect the cables in the screwless terminals on the display. The relay test is also just a matter of seconds as each relay can be activated and deactivated independently of the input signal.

Reliable signal conditioning

PReview 5725 has been designed according to the strictest European standards and is approved by UL for installation in the USA and by DNV for use in the marine industry. Supply, relays and analogue output are galvanically separated by 2.3 kVAC isolation. When the NAMUR input is selected, PReview 5725 can be set for alarm function via the display, relays and/or the analogue output in case of an error in the NAMUR sensor.

PReview 5725 (1/8 DIN, 96x48 mm) is designed for mounting in a panel front and when the included rubber seal is mounted between the panel cutout hole and the display front, it provides IP65 protection. For extra protection in extreme environments, the 5725 can be delivered with a specially designed splash-proof cover as accessory. Adhesive labels with the most common process units, which can be affixed on the front, are included.
